Metairie Road District

Metairie Road has always been a unique section of Jefferson Parish—a bustling corridor of shops and restaurants winding through quiet tree lined streets and neighborhoods. It’s an area that has flourished through generations, attracting residents and visitors to this special place called Old Metairie.

And now, through an effort led by Councilwoman Jennifer Van Vrancken, a new branding and marketing campaign will help better preserve and promote the things that we love about Metairie Road, while making it even more desirable and convenient to those who live and visit. This comprehensive vision will enhance business activity and attract residents and visitors to the area to live, work, and enjoy their experience along Metairie Road.  In addition to a logo and tagline, the campaign will combine advertising and marketing strategies that help guide future development and growth along Metairie Road.

As a stakeholder in this process, we want to get your input.  What do you think are Metairie Road’s strengths and weaknesses? What direction would you like to see this area go in?  Please take a few moments to fill out the survey below.

Thank you for your time. We look forward to hearing from you.
